I am fan of Defense of the Ancients game. I have been playing from many years. Few years before, a new character was introduced, Monkey King. Also I was fascinated by pure damage dealt using MKB Monkey King Bar. Pure damage, meaning it 100% delivered, fully effective damage that doesn’t know any blocks. In my world, Monkey is always native to India. I liked the fact that Dota 2 introduced Indian character. For me its almost like revering Hanuman, redemption. Today I stumbled upon Black Myth Wukong game, and liked the Monkey hero, and wallah, it also has a bar, the same MKB Monkey King Bar. To me, now it felt like there is something about the Monkey Character. And I discovered the Journey to the West, a story of Monk, who travelled from China to India to retrieve Buddhist text. To my understanding its because the Pundit culture, Brahmin caste and influence of Shankar, would not let Buddhism flourish, it would become extinct. The journey is similar to the journey of Rama to Shrilanka for different purpose. Both stories have monkey character Hanuman and Wukong. Both stories has elements of adventure, challenges. Both characters are providing service to master. And both characters have powers, Hanuman is considered to have many yogic powers, so does Wukong! How fascinating!
