Milestone for Computation of Sanskrit Scriptures

Dr Rishi Rajpopat, a PhD candidate at Cambridge University, claims to have solved a long-standing grammar problem in the Ashtadhyayi — a Sanskrit text written by the scholar Panini around the 6th or 5th century BCE.

What this means for us? Well, it means a lot. A door is open now, for Computers to derive meaning conclusively from any sanskrit text.
